Duplo 5000 Booklet Maker – a complete Duplo System 5000 booklet-making line, sold as one lot: dynamic booklet maker, face trimmer, stacker and 2 x collators. Suited to print rooms, reprographics departments and technicians able to repair and recommission finishing equipment.

On a System 5000 line, the collators feed sheets in page order, the booklet maker stitches and folds each set, the trimmer cuts the open edge clean, and the stacker collects the finished booklets.

1. Duplo System 5000 Dynamic Booklet Maker (DBM-500)

• Function: Stitches (staples) and folds collated sets into finished booklets in one pass.
• Stitch positions: Saddle, side, corner or fold only – saddle stitching staples along the fold for booklets; side and corner stitching produce flat stapled documents; fold-only mode suits leaflets and programmes.
• Saddle stitch paper size: Length 178–508mm, width 120–356mm – covers common booklet formats from A5 to A4 finished.
• Side and corner stitch paper size: B5 LEF, A4 SEF/LEF, B4 SEF, LGL LEF (some exceptions) – LEF and SEF mean long-edge and short-edge feed.

• Function: Feed sheets one bin at a time, in page order, to build each set before it is stitched and folded.
• Bins: 10 per collator – 20 bins in total across the two towers.
• Feed method: Vacuum belt suction with air separation, to pull single sheets and reduce double feeds.
• Feed capacity: Upper bin up to 200mm (about 2 000 sheets of 80gsm); lower bin up to 60mm.
